Collage imagery Style
We have a library of images available on the DAM, and this should provide you with enough approved images for your work.
The collage style has been created to aid where finding a specific image is difficult. This style can be used to create a scene or depict a topic that is otherwise hard to find from our library bank. It can incorporate 1-2 images, copy and icons as well as our new shapes/patterns.
Some key points to follow with collage:
- Your subject must contain people who would interact or be affected by Octopus
- A sense of that person’s environment
What to avoid in graphics:
Avoid images that look staged, cliche and generic. We don’t behave like a generic finance company so let’s not look like one either. No images of gambling or risk taking, no brand names and try to avoid obvious metaphors like plants for growth or mountains for success.
